Main Role: As Lead Partner, OBB oversees the overall coordination and implementation of the SturNet project. The foundation manages the consortium’s progress, ensures partner alignment, and leads the development of the SturNet Digital Mapping Tool, which will identify and monitor conservation risk areas for sturgeon species. OBB is also responsible for eDNA sampling in Bulgaria and local stakeholder outreach, signing Memorandums of Cooperation, contributing to national policy, and promoting the long-term use of the project’s outcomes at national level.
