Description: This article presents a comprehensive hydrological and hydrochemical study of the Danube River within the Reni–Izmail section of the Ukrainian territory. It analyzes long-term and seasonal changes in water levels, flow rates, sediment transport, and mineralization over a period exceeding 150 years. The findings highlight significant trends in sediment reduction and freshwater flow variability, which are essential for sustainable water use, irrigation, and environmental protection of the Danube Delta and associated lakes.
