Description: This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the geomorphological characteristics of the Kakhovka Reservoir shoreline, with a focus on planning and implementing shore protection measures. The study details the structural and geological composition of the coastal slopes, differences in geomorphic zones (upper, middle, and dam-adjacent), types of slopes, and erosion susceptibility. Particular attention is given to the deluvial and alluvial formations, slope gradients, and hydrological impacts on shoreline stability. The research provides essential insights for designing sustainable shoreline management and engineering solutions to mitigate erosion and prevent damage to settlements and agricultural lands adjacent to the reservoir.
