Description: This scientific paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the long-term cyclical fluctuations in maximum discharges caused by snow-rain floods in the Ukrainian part of the Danube River basin. Using hydro-genetic methods such as mass curves and residual mass curves, the study evaluates observation data from 34 gauging stations across 24 rivers. The authors identify four types of cyclical behavior and assess the synchronicity and stationarity of flood patterns. The research has critical implications for flood forecasting, risk management, and the planning of hydraulic structures in mountainous catchments.
