“Building the International Sturgeon Network for Ecosystem Sustainability”. A full-day event at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki dedicated to science, conservation, collaboration, eDNA technologies, and sustainable ecosystem management.
International Awareness-Raising and Networking Workshop focused on regional cooperation, protection of sturgeons and their habitats, transboundary monitoring, and ecosystem sustainability across the Black Sea Basin and Lower Danube region.
The Aristotle University team will present SturNet eDNA research on the spatiotemporal detection of Neogobius melanostomus and Mnemiopsis leidyi in the Southern Black Sea basin, and implications for sturgeon conservation.
